This is, by no surprise, the most confusing part when it comes to starting a new fitness routine. Working out the right amount of calories, types of foods, timings and so on. But it’s really not that confusing once you strip away all the nonsense that’s already out there and stick to what works.
For me, having dealt with many different individuals on what is the best way to start a healthy diet and make it sustainable, without changing their current diet (keto/ paleo/ vegan) they are currently on because they feel it’s working for them. Is to keep it simple, too simple actually that the process I take them through is the first thing I got taught. With a few minor changes along the way like a 90 Day Habit planner where I take the 3 most important times of the day, the morning, the time they get home and time before bed and structure a routine to follow.
This is where following and sticking to a diet for anyone becomes too easy to follow and something that can be done by just looking and what you eat and when you eat followed by a training program.
It’s just that simple.
